Description: Founded in 1996, Kroka Expedition's summer camps are committed to awakening in young people a connection to nature and the spirit within, and a capacity for conscious living and compassionate service. We strive to achieve this through wilderness adventure, community living, farming, and the practice of traditional and indigenous skills, We offer one and two week programs in rock climbing, white water paddling, bow making, and birch bark canoe building. We offer introductory to advanced programs. Students live in "hobbit houses" and traditional dwellings amidst a picturesque village looking out at our hilltop farm on the edge of a large wilderness area. Sliding scale fee and financial aid is available. Please call or email for a full brochure.
