Description: Camp Halfmoon serves over 1,800 campers each summer, roughly 200+ campers per day. Each group has specifically trained staff members and activities designed to meet the needs of that particular age group. Camp Halfmoon is held on-site in the 10 acres of woods directly behind the Goffstown YMCA. Campers learn new skills and make new friends as they cool off in the pool, conquer their fears on the challenge course, learn about nature, express their creativity in arts and crafts, shoot arrows, and bond with their teammates over sports. Campers will also attend weekly field trips to a local state park or beach as part of the camp experience. These days and an awards ceremony on Friday complete the week on a highnote of fun and friendship.
